How does theory orbit every day events? How do our feelings colour our readings? What happens when we read with a quality in mind? How do we pose ourselves when we pose a question?
This workshop seeks to explore pathways of understanding that are attuned to desire, emotion, and sensation through processes designed to divert habitual pathways of comprehension, reason, explanation, and reflection. They include elements of choreography, tarot reading, gossip, and logic. We will explore fragmented theory and everyday events by filtering them through passions and distractions.
Participants will be invited to:
wonder, want, see as, reposition, remind, read, propose, process, position, pause, open, mention, link, juxtapose, integrate, frame, emote, discuss, chat, care, associate, and articulate.
